TCL’s #SixforSunday #12- The Picnic Stack book challenge book Tag.

What is #SixforSunday?

#SixforSunday was a little blog feature Steph @ A little but a lot started in June 2017 for herself. It’s a weekly blog post where you get to share 6 books which fill a certain prompt. Originally, #SixforSunday was a post Steph did that she never thought she would stick with! It was her place to share 6 bookish things under a given prompt. (If you want to see her first post, you can check it out here!) She started it thinking it would fizzle out and that she would run out of things to use as prompts: She never imagined that it would transform itself into something OTHER PEOPLE JOIN IN WITH every week. For further details of the rules and links to the prompts for this meme, please visit Steph’s blog here. (Don’t forget to follow and tag Steph alittlebutalot on Twitter and Instagram – @eenalol – if you join in! Also, I made this little banner for this prompt, using graphics from her blog. I hope Steph likes it!)

This week – May 21, 2021– the topic is: Choose Your Own Adventure.

Well, to tell the truth, it seems that Steph hasn’t given us any topics for May, so I’m going to just choose my own topic. That’s why I’m going with a challenge I found on Joanne’s blog, The Portobello Book Blog:

The Picnic Stack!

Joanne was tagged by Joanna on Instagram (JoJosOverTheRainbowBlog) to share a picnic stack. Since I’m abroad on vacation, and I wanted to schedule a “filler” post, I decided to use this idea. I also realized there were six questions so, I figured I could do this book tag as a Six for Sunday!

The challenge is to answer six questions for a picnic using book titles.

  1. Where?: On the Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys.
  2. When?: While Standing in the Rainbow by Fannie Flagg.
  3. What’s the weather like?: Apparently, we need Instructions for a Heatwave by Maggie O’Farrell.
  4. What’s in the sandwiches?: Five Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harris.
  5. What can you hear?: The songs of Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid!
  6. Who is joining you?: Maureen Fry and the Angel of the North by Rachel Joyce.

What about you? How would you answer these six picnic questions using only book titles?
