Yes, I’ve decided to continue to join in this reading challenge! I now have a longer list than just 20 classic books that I’ve long wanted to read, but that just means more for later. In my case, these are all books I already own, either in print, or already have ready and waiting to be read on my Kindle. So, without any further ado…

Quite an eclectic list, right? And just so you know, some of these have been on my shelves for several decades, and some of them are very old editions, which are bound in real leather!
What’s Next?
On Sunday, March 19th, they will announce a number from 1 through 20. When they announce it, I will go to my Spin list, find that number, read (and hopefully, review) the book listed for that number by April 30, 2023.

“Diaries of Adam and Eve” by Twain of all people sounds interesting. Your list has a lot of works I’ve not heard of!
I’m on the low end of my CC list and have general ideas for when I want to read all of my remaining titles, so I’m not doing this particular CC…..though I may change my mind at the last minute. Who knows?! 😀

You could always read along side the spin. I did that the first time. I saw the spin, didn’t put up a list, but decided to read and review a classic for their deadline.

lots of great titles here, I hope you get a good one – I’ve read a few and would probably choose A Moveable Feast (although Agatha Christie is always good!)

I read five of your books, Daisy Miller, Heart of Darkness, The Bluest Eye, The Martian Chronicles, To Kill a Mockingbird and Tender is the Night, all of them good. But I also read a few other books by some of your other writers, so I am quite excited what you will be reading.

Enjoy! I keep failing so I’m taking a break. Casino Royale is a look at a different time and a different type man. I loved all the Bond books when I read them in the ’70s. I wonder how I’d feel if I read the for the first time now? lol Probably still love them!

Lots of goodies there! Of the ones I’ve read I particularly enjoyed The Martian Chronicles and To Kill a Mockingbird. (And hated Tender is the Night!) Christie is always appealing to me, and I recently re-read and enjoyed The Mysterious Affair at Styles. I can’t remember The Seven Dials Mystery off the top of my head – you may have forced me to put it on my re-read list! Whichever one you get I hope it’s one you enjoy!
