An Alternative Author Interview: TCL's Countdown Questions. This week, featuring author Mary Glickman. I discovered Mary Glickman's historical fiction work via the wonderful NetGally. Admittedly, I was curious and a bit wary of these books because they sounded like there were Jewish themes, and Mary isn't a very Jewish name, yet Glickman could very well … Continue reading TCL’s Countdown Questions #9: Author Mary Glickman.

Travels with Light.
Book Review for “Keeping Lucy” by T. Greenwood. Ginny Richardson had everything that she absolutely never, ever wanted. A big house in the suburbs, lots of money, a high-powered lawyer husband, and none of it was making her happy. What she really wanted was to live in the country, and bring up her children with … Continue reading Travels with Light.
TCL’s Countdown Questions #8: Author and Poet Kathleen Rooney.
An Alternative Author Interview: TCL's Countdown Questions. These are the questions I'm asking authors to answer, as I think they'll give insight into them as people, as well as who they are as writers: If you could visit five (5) places you’ve never been, where would you go and why? Name four (4) foods or … Continue reading TCL’s Countdown Questions #8: Author and Poet Kathleen Rooney.
TCL’s 2019 Summer Bucket List Book Tag
Sorry! I should have posted this sooner! I want to thank Siobhan from Novelties for tagging me, which was pretty unexpected (I don't have all that many followers, so I didn't think that other bloggers were paying much attention to me, to tell the truth). War with Doughnuts and Coffee.

Instead of staying home and worrying, she recruits her two best friends from college to join up with the Red Cross to become “Clubmobile Girls,” handing out coffee and … Continue reading War with Doughnuts and Coffee.
TCL’s Countdown Questions #7: Author Alma Alexander.
I "met" Alma through the usenet message board misc.writing. Although we've never met in person, and Alma writes in a genre that I don't generally read, I have read one book she wrote, together with the man she later married, Deck Deckert, "Letters from the Fire" which was (we believe) the first email epistolary novel ever written!
Heaven Scent.
This new novel on the backdrop of the whirlwind romance between Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco is a sensory delight and an emotive journey!

So... how does an essentially unknown book review blog like this one get the world-famous, international best selling author Joanne Harris to participate in her five little alternative author interview?
