Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
The rules are simple:
- Each Tuesday, Jana assigns a new topic. Create your own Top Ten list that fits that topic – putting your unique spin on it if you want.
- Everyone is welcome to join but please link back to The Artsy Reader Girl in your own Top Ten Tuesday post.
- Add your name to the Linky widget on that day’s post so that everyone can check out other bloggers’ lists.
- Or if you don’t have a blog, just post your answers as a comment.
This week’s topic is The Ten Most Recent Additions to My To-Read List:
The last book to be added to my list is by Kate Brathwaite, who recently reached out to me to invite me to read her upcoming novel called “The Girl Puzzle.” This is another biographical, historical, women’s fiction novel about Nellie Bly. This isn’t the cover to the novel, because that hasn’t been released yet, I just grabbed this off Kate’s blog (and I hope she doesn’t mind). The novel is supposed to be released this coming spring (about April), and I’m really looking forward to it!
The other nine books are the following (all of which I have received as ARCs):
Which books would make your list?
Thanks again to the Artsy Reader Girl for this Meme!
So many ARCs! I hope they all end up being great 🙂

The Printed Letter Bookshop sounds a great title, but the synopsis points to something maybe too romancy for me. The latest book I added to my TBR is https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/37819090-trace. I actually received it, not sure why. It’s a children book, I’m going to give it a try

Ah… a ghost story. Not for me. I like just a little romance in my books, but nothing where bodices get ripped, if you get my drift!

Great list, Davida. The Girl Puzzle sounds really interesting. I’ve not heard of a few of the books on your list but I do love Kate Quinn so The Huntress would make my list as well. 🙂

I haven’t read any of those but I’ve seen some good reviews of Old Baggage so I would like to try that one. The Printed Letter Bookshop and The Huntress both sound interesting too. I hope you enjoy them all!

I have to read Kate Quinn’s other book one of these days. Her books sound perfect for me!

I enjoyed The Alice Network, but never got around to reading The Other Einstein (well, actually, NetGalley didn’t approve the ARC for me), but I do want to read it.

Those look good! I recently snagged Tortilla Flat for free at an exchange, so I may be reading that. I also have Jewish Noir.

I already have Old Baggage and The Printed Letter Bookshop on my tbr. Old Baggage was on last week’s Top Ten Tuesday list so I really must read that first!

Oh… I have four (or five) books to read before I can get to Old Baggage, and then Printed Letter is next on that list!
